How do I care for my precious yarn I just received from you?
I always advocate the importance of hand washing your item. It not only protects the vibrancy of the dyed wool but it also helps to maintain the integrity of the wool. Fill a bowl or your sink with tepid water and always use a mild detergent meant for delicates. I highly recommend SOAK or even a mild baby shampoo, Then lay them flat to dry.
when lighting your candle for the first time, allow a melt pool form across the entire span of your candle, otherwise it won't burn properly the next time you light it.
trim your wicks to 1/4" before re-lighting. It helps to prevent smoke or uneven burning.
stop burning the candle when it only has about a 1/4" of wax left
If you want to reuse your candle boil some water and pour it into your container to melt all the wax, wait for it to cool down and you will have a cooled disk of wax for easier removal.
please do not leave candles burning unattended or for lengthy amounts of time. I find burning in 3-4 hour increments is best for the candles. Keep your candles away from anything that can catch fire or from hanging over top of your candle. keep candles away from children and pets
